Author Guidelines

For the initial submission, authors are required to provide a manuscript that does not need to follow the journal template, but should include the basic author information such as names, affiliations, and the corresponding author’s email. If the paper is accepted by the journal after completing the peer-review process, authors will be required to prepare the final manuscript according to the template provided below:

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word and follow the provided CoCS template. Submissions prepared with other editors will not be accepted.

  • Ensure the manuscript has undergone a spell check and English grammar check before submission.

  • Use A4 paper size (21 × 29.7 cm) with the following margins:

    • Top: 1.5 cm

    • Bottom: 1.5 cm

    • Left: 2 cm

    • Right: 1.5 cm

  • Manuscripts must be in one-column format with justified text alignment.


2. Manuscript Structure

The paper should contain the following sections in order:

  1. Title of the Paper

  2. Authors and Affiliations (full names without academic or professional titles; affiliations must include institution and country; email for the corresponding author is mandatory)

  3. Abstract – Maximum 200 words, self-contained, citation-free, stating purpose, approach, results, and conclusions.

  4. Keywords – About five, separated by semicolons.

  5. Introduction

  6. Main Body

  7. Conclusions

  8. References (IEEE style)


3. Formatting and Fonts

  • Use Times New Roman throughout the document.

  • Font sizes:

    • Paper title: 18 pt, bold

    • Author names: 10 pt

    • Affiliations: 9 pt

    • Abstract text: 9 pt

    • Table captions: 8 pt (centered)

    • Figure captions: 8 pt (centered)

    • References: 8 pt

  • Paragraphs should be fully justified.


4. Figures and Tables

  • Figures and tables must be placed as close as possible to where they are cited in the text.

  • Center figures and tables on the page.

  • Large figures/tables (more than one column width) should be placed at the top or bottom of the page.

  • Use high-resolution images (≥300 dpi) with clear labels in Times New Roman, 10 pt.

  • All similar graphics should be generated using the same software (e.g., Excel, MATLAB). Avoid importing low-quality image files (JPG, BMP, PNG).

  • Captions should be numbered sequentially (e.g., Fig. 1, Table 1) followed by a descriptive title.


5. Equations

  • Number equations consecutively (e.g., (1), (2)) with numbers right-aligned.

  • Use Times New Roman font for all equations.

  • Symbols must be used consistently throughout the paper.

  • Avoid repeating definitions already stated; refer to previously defined equations or symbols using their numbers.


6. Acknowledgements

  • Briefly acknowledge individuals or organizations that supported the work.

  • If the work was funded by a grant, include the grant name and number.


7. References

  • Use the IEEE citation style.

  • Ensure all references are complete and accurate.
